New York State Map

Map cards are really one of my very favorite types of postcards to receive. Ever since I was a little girl I've been obsessed with maps. I could also spend hours on Google Earth just traveling around. Maybe I was a cartographer in my past life? 

Here is a lovely New York map card from roxy in Canada. New York really is a lovely state and I'd like to have more time to travel around it. I've only spent a day in New York City, but I've been to Staten Island to visit family twice. I've also been up in the Catskill Mountains to Woodstock and surrounding areas.

Here's some pics from my first trip to NY! Most of my pictures have my ex-husband in them, so that seems weird to share, but here's a few. We visited Woodstock, NYC, and Staten Island. It was a lot of fun, my favorite was definitely upstate, though. Woodstock was lots of fun because there's a lot of old homes,New Age shops, and cool gift shops. In NYC we rode the ferry, went to Times Square and walked around.
